> Family Councils
We are looking for community members to join our Family Community Advisory Council. The FCACs meet once a month to discuss and bring to management's attention any services or programs we feel are needed or wanted in the community. Please contact the center nearest you. Your input drives services for your community.

Ruskin FSRC - Family Advisory Council Meeting First Tuesday of every month 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
FCAC ROLES
President
- Lead group discussion monthly. Prepare agenda with Center Manager.
- Communicates on all topics directly with Center Manager.
- Prepare Special Event plans with Center Manager and submit to Program Manager.
- Participates in community meetings and partnership meetings as able.
- Attends community or partnership meetings as able/requested.
Vice President
- Assists President with tasks agreed upon at FCAC meetings.
- Leads monthly meeting in the absence of President.
- Recruits diverse membership.
Recorder
- Participate in monthly meetings.
- Take minutes of group discussions, actions to be taken and responsible parties.
- Submit minutes to President and Center Manager for review.
- Send meeting reminders to group members.
- Use minutes form provided.
Treasurer
- Prepare budget for activities planned by FCAC. Submit to Center Manager for provider budget and Program Manager if it is for project budget.
- Secure community resources to support center activities with advance permission of Center Manager.
- Funds must be used by 9/30 and spent to serve center activities or identified needs.
