Situated at 201 14th Avenue SE in South Ruskin, the Family Support and Resource Center is uniquely located on a campus with other social service agencies. These include the Hillsborough County Health and Social Services Department, the Joyce Eli Health Department, Homes for Hillsborough, the Department of Children and Families and Head Start.
The Ruskin Family Support and Resource Center not only has its own programs to serve families, but staff can help them in their search for the right agency to meet their other needs.
The services and programs provided at the Ruskin FSRC are derived from input offered by the Family Advisory Council. The Council includes family members of the FSRC and the local community as well as other agencies. This group identifies needs within the community, sets priorities and develops plans; as families, staff and community agencies work together.
