Children’s Board investments ensure that Children are Healthy and Safe, Children are Developmentally on Track, Children are Ready to Learn and Succeed, and Children have Supported and Supportive Families. The CBHC strives to improve service delivery in partnership with local providers, neighborhoods, residents and community-based organizations while building and maintaining the infrastructure necessary to provide children’s services throughout the county

Healthy Start Coalition of Hillsborough County, Inc.
The Healthy Start Coalition is a private, non-profit maternal and child health organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of pregnant women, children and families in Hillsborough County. There are 32 Coalitions in Florida that are responsible for assessing community needs; developing a community-based service delivery plan; ensuring integration of local providers and services; and emphasizing positive patient outcomes.
The Children's Board Family Resource Centers are administered by the HSC.
Champions For Children
Champions for Children is dedicated to helping children and strengthening families in Hillsborough County through prevention, education and treatment programs. Their mission is to prevent abuse before it occurs, stop abuse that is occurring and rebuilding the child and family after abuse.
Champions for Children provides the Child Development domain through their Baby Bungalow Program for the Children's Board Family Resource Centers. They also manage the Centers in East County and North Tampa.

The St. Joseph's Children’s Wellness and Safety Center provides health and wellness services to children and families throughout Tampa Bay including: Bike and Pedestrian Safety Clinics; Child Passenger Safety Classes; CPR & First Aid Classes; Mobile Medical Clinic; Safe Sitter Classes; School-based Wellness and Nutritional Programs; Teen Talk Classes; The Safety Store; Water Safety Resources; and more.
St. Joseph's Children’s Wellness and Safety Center provides the Health and Safety domain for the Children's Board Family Resource Centers along with Mobile Services.

Suncoast Community Health Centers
Focusing on primary healthcare and general dentistry, Suncoast serves as the medical and dental home of many of the residents and migrant workers and their families living in eastern and southern Hillsborough County. Suncoast currently operates seven clinics and two dental outreach programs, including their state-of -the-art dental coach.
Suncoast Community Health Centers provides Preventative Dental Services at the CBFRCs in East County, Brandon and South County for children ages 6 months through 18 years.
Preserve Vision Florida is a non-profit organization offering 59 years of vision education and services to Florida’s children and adults. Our focus is promoting a lifetime of healthy vision care through advocacy, education, screening and research.
Preserve Vision Florida provides vision screening at all six Centers through the Mobile Medical Clinic.
Tampa Family Health Centers' mission is to provide quality, caring, and accessible health care to a culturally diverse community.
Tampa Family Health Centers provide Preventative Dental Services at the CBFRCs in Central Tampa, North Tampa and Town 'N Country to children ages 6 months through 18 years.
Florida Department of Children and Families Automated Community Connection to Economic Self Sufficiency (ACCESS). The ACCESS Florida Program helps to promote strong and economically self-sufficient communities by providing food, cash and medical assistance to individuals and families on the road to economic recovery.

Through Florida KidCare, the state of Florida offers health insurance for children from birth through age 18, even if one or both parents are working. It includes four different parts. When you apply for the insurance, Florida KidCare will check which part your child may qualify for based on age and family income.

The Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County is a 501-C3 organization that specializes in the funding and delivery of quality early childhood care and education and after-school programs and services to the children and families of Hillsborough County. We believe all children should have a quality early learning experience that is essential in building a successful future.

ReDefiners World Languages, Inc.
Founded by a full-time educator, parent, and advocate for language learning, ReDefiners is a non-profit organization that prides itself in being a pioneer in the early language education programming in Hillsborough County. The organization is made up of qualified teachers, international student volunteers and business professionals who are passionate about language and cultural education. We offer language classes in Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Spanish and English to children in PreK-5th grade.
ReDefiners provides Let's Learn Spanish classes to the Centers in Brandon, Town 'N Country and Temple Terrace.
The Florida Diagnostic & Learning Resources System (FDLRS) provides diagnostic, instructional, and technology support services to district exceptional education programs and families of students with disabilities. Service centers include 19 centers that directly serve school districts in the areas of Child Find, Parent Services, Human Resource Development (HRD), and Technology.
Early Steps is Florida's early intervention system that offers services to eligible infants and toddlers (birth to thirty-six months) with significant delays or a condition likely to result in a developmental delay. Early Intervention is provided to support families and caregivers in developing the competence and confidence to help their child learn and develop.
Early Childhood Council
Formed as a grass roots organization in 1983 by a group of educators, social workers, parents and early childhood advocates, the ECC has always been focused on prevention and early intervention efforts with an emphasis on assisting young children with special needs and their families, because of the fundamental belief that “Every Child Counts.”
