Marisol grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and has resided in the sunshine state for about 20 years now. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of South Florida. She is passionate about empowering families to ensure that they have equal access to the tools and community resources that are available throughout Tampa Bay. In her years of nonprofit management, she has facilitated cultural arts and academic enrichment for children, provided crisis intervention and victim services to survivors of domestic violence, and coordinated case management for individuals and families in need.
Isilena is originally from Chicago, Illinois but moved to Florida at 5 years old. She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Forensic Behavioral Health from the University of South Florida. Isilena has 2 years of experience working in the mental and behavioral health field with children and families.
Family Support Specialist
Solange was born and raised in Guayama, Puerto Rico. She moved to Florida 5 years ago to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Behavioral Healthcare from the University of South Florida. Solange has background experience working with children and families within the mental health and behavioral health fields.
Family Support Specialist
Simeon was born and raised in Tampa, FL. He studied Applied Behavior Analysis and Social Work at the University of South Florida. Simeon has spent his career training in trauma informed care and mental health support. He aspires to complete his MSW degree to provide clinical services to children and families in the future. He has a background in case management, medical social work, community outreach, and volunteer coordination. Simeon has been working in social services for five years.
Early Childhood Service Coordinator
Sandra was raised in Cali, Colombia and moved to Florida six years ago. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in social work from Ana G. Mendez University in Tampa. She has experience in human services roles and a passion for providing support and services to empower children, families and community members in need. Sandra is also a member of an organization called Club Colombia of Tampa, where she is active in charitable initiatives, cultural events, and community support.
Leonila is native to La Ceiba, Honduras. She speaks fluent Garifuna, Spanish, and English. Leonila started her work in the educational system in 1988 and spent several years working as a school principal in Honduras. Once she and her family moved to the United States she continued her career with a focus in childcare education. Leonila believes that life is a learning process and her greatest passion is to serve children and families.
Lynique relocated from Maryland to Florida to join the CBFRC Team. Lynique possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services, with a concentration in Child and Family studies and a Master of Science degree in Executive Leadership & Change with a concentration in leadership within nonprofit organizations. She describes herself to be a highly motivated, compassionate individual with over 20 years' experience working with children and families and 15 years of supervision.
Lynique Beckford, Early Childhood Service Coordinator Supervisor
Marile is originally from the Bronx, NY, but now lives here in Florida with her elementary school sweetheart. She moved to Florida to attend Saint Leo University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a Specialization in Development. She is an alumni member of Latinas Promoviendo Communidad Lambda Pi Chi Sorority Inc.
