Maria is an experienced Clinical Social Worker and Sociologist that has spent her career life using her knowledge and experience to help her community overcome obstacles. She knows there is no single approach that works for everyone, so driven by her passion to help others, Maria has continued to educate herself on new therapies and trends. She takes pride in providing the best solution to the individuals and families she serves. Born in Livingston, New Jersey, with Colombian and Puerto Rican roots; she knows the importance of family and community. Maria is a Certified Life Coach and Notary Public. She received her education at University of New England with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with a minor in Sociology from University of South Alabama. She is currently working on her Doctorate in Leadership Education at the University of New England. As a professional, her goals include continue finding approaches to help families and individuals as well as learning a new language. ¡Yo hablo español!
Early Childhood Service Coordinator
Tamara is a professional social worker passionate about serving the community, and her central philosophy is humanism, and solidarity is among her value system. Tamara was born in Boston, Massachusetts, but lived her entire life in Puerto Rico, the country of origin of her parents. She has lived in Florida for the past six years. She has a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the Eastern University of Puerto Rico, and in 2021 she obtained her Master's degree in Human Resources from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico. Tamara is passionate about life, loves to travel, and spends quality time with her family and friends. She is a very positive person and likes to inject happiness into all the people around her. As a professional, she aims to continue supporting families and individuals who achieve their personal and family goals.
Diana is originally from Bogota, Colombia. She moved to Lexington, Kentucky in 2000. She has been a Florida resident since 2017. She has over 16 years of experience in sales and customer service. She aspires to get her bachelor’s degree in Human Services. Diana loves traveling and visiting her family back in Colombia. She is passionate about serving the community and helping children and families in the area. Diana has been with CBFRCs since 2021. ¡Yo hablo español!
Rocio was born in Arequipa, Peru. She moved to the United States in 2001. She lived in Lexington, Kentucky for 13 years. She decided to move to the sunshine state to be closer to her daughter and to enjoy the warm weather. Rocio has over 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She also worked at a local school as a lead teacher for 2 years. Rocio joined the CBFRCS in 2022. ¡Yo hablo español!
Eimy is from Guatemala, and has resided in the sunshine state for about 8 years now. Eimy aspires to be an ultrasound tech. She enjoys building strong relationships and helping families. She likes to participate in a variety of activities at her church. Eimy also plays in a band and likes to express herself through music. She likes to learn about other people’s cultures. Pedro was born in Venezuela and was brought to the United States when he was two years old. Helping others and fitness are his passions. Pedro is currently attending the University of South Florida and seeking a degree in Health Sciences; after the completion of his degree, he plans on continuing school for Physical Therapy. ¡Yo hablo español!
