Ariellee was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. She is of Puerto Rican and Italian descent. Ariellee graduated from the University of South Florida with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology just shortly after her 20th birthday, thanks to obtaining her Associates degree prior to completing high school. She looks forward to returning to school to obtain her master’s degree (or Psy.D) in Clinical Psychology. Ariellee has years of experience in Human Resources and is passionate about helping others. She is no stranger to adversity and seeks to show others that with a good heart and determination, no dream is out of reach. Ariellee has been with the Children’s Board Family Resource Centers since 2021.

Sheyla was born in Guantanamo, Cuba and was raised in Tampa, Florida. She is veteran who honorably served in the United States Marine Corps and has traveled all over the world. Now, she dedicates herself to helping others and enhancing her community one day at a time. Sheyla is currently a college student looking to further her education and pursue a Bachelor’s degree of Arts. She is enthusiastic about our families and has been with the Children’s Board Family Resource Centers since 2021.

Kelsie-Ann Barker, Family Specialist

Kelsie-Ann was born and raised in the island of Jamaica. She moved to South Florida when she was 16 where she completed high school and earned her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at Florida International University in Miami. Kelsie has had a heart for children since she was a child herself and aspires to become a pediatric physician so she can help children in every way she can. In the meantime, she is currently pursuing her Masters in Public Health with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health at the University of South Florida here in Tampa. Kelsie loves interacting with children and families and has a passion to help those who are most in need and often overlooked. Her favorite quote is “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Kelsie-Ann has been with the Children’s Board Family Resource Centers since 2021.
